Sustainability
Sustainability is a driving force for Aurora.
Aurora has been a pioneer in sustainable TV production practices, as one of the first partners of Albert, BAFTA’s carbon reduction and sustainable TV production initiative. We are a founding member of the Albert Sports Consortium.
We integrate sustainable practices into our productions by sourcing from ethical suppliers such as Finisterre and Ocean Bottle, reducing single-use plastics on remote shoots. We are also pioneers in the use of Remote Production technology in live sports to reduce travel and freight. Additionally, our content has told many stories of sustainability, highlighting critical environmental issues such as habitat destruction and deforestation, featuring expert contributors from the science and technology sectors.
