Our actions
We’re founding members of the Albert Sports Consortium, tasked with acting upon the unique environmental challenges and opportunities faced by the sports broadcasting community.
How we do it
Our business takes us around the world, so we actively consider how to manage our travel footprint without compromising on the quality of our output.
We actively follow Albert guidelines and submit our data through their system to measure our footprint and offset against productions.
Where possible we take our own water bottles, coffee cups, plates and bowls to productions.
We partner with B-Corp businesses to provide us with clothing and accessories that are produced from sustainable sources. Recently we have formed partnerships with Finisterre and Ocean Bottle.
Sustainability to us
“You can't side step sustainability, it is intrinsic to running a successful business.”
Lawrence Duffy, Managing Director
“Working on productions that centre on climate awareness and sustainability have made me think twice about how I live and how we can all do our part."
Kelsey Gallagher, Production Manager
“We want everyone to be part of the solution and have a voice to propose initiatives to help with our sustainability as a company.”
James Smith, Wellbeing, Sustainability & Belonging Committee
As part of All3 Media, Aurora staff have access to:
- Open Planet
- Cycle To Work Scheme
- Sustainability Employee Day
Our pledge
We've set an ambitious target to significantly reduce our travel footprint by 2025 vs 2019.
At the end of each working day we power down the office.
Staff can donate one day of their time and skills to a local cause of their choice.
Annually, we will support one independent sustainably focused film by providing post-production facilities.
