In 2016, Formula E had an idea to drive an electric car on an iceberg, creating a world first stunt to highlight the emergency in the world’s climate, and in particular the erosion of sea ice in the Arctic circle.

Aurora made the film of this incredible journey as we helicoptered a race car to Greenland and recc’d many prospective icebergs. With 2016 Summer being the hottest on record, we couldn’t find a stable, non-melting iceberg and moved further North to finally create the stunt on the ice cap.
The film interviews many renowned climate scientists, ecologists and glaciologists and is a camera of record of the need for immediate de-carbonisation and adoption of electric vehicles.
