The behind-the-scenes docuseries "Formula E Unplugged" returned for its third season in 2023, produced by Aurora.
The series delved into the ninth season of the competition, now recognized as the fourth largest motorsport in the world. The series launched just before the start of season ten, which began in Mexico City on January 13.
"Formula E Unplugged" was available globally on the Formula E YouTube channel, with episodes tailored to the platform in a mix of ten 15-minute and eight-minute entries. In addition, the series was broadcast through various media partners around the world, including TNT Sports in the UK, Eurosport and discovery+ in Europe, Roku in the US, and Bandeirantes in Brazil.
The series captured every angle of the most dramatic season yet, featuring high-speed action, intense rivalries, and dramatic clashes in iconic locations such as Cape Town, Hyderabad, Sao Paulo, and London. "Unplugged" offered new fans a perfect way to catch up on the excitement just as the new season began, while providing dedicated fans with a unique behind-the-scenes perspective on last season's entertainment.

It took a momentous effort from the entire team last year to achieve what we did. So much happens behind the scenes that fans don’t usually get to see, and so to be able to give fans an insight into all of the untold stories through Unplugged is fantastic. It’s also so much easier to connect with a sport when you feel like you know the people involved in it. Unplugged truly offers viewers a unique look at what it takes to compete in one of the world’s most competitive sports.
