OVERVIEW
In November 2024 Aurora had an incredible four weeks in NEOM, working as the new host broadcast partner for the NEOM Beach Games. This event was the culmination of months of collaboration, planning, and hard work from the dedicated team at NEOM and the individual rights holders at the Games: supertri, FIBA, Worldwide International Federation of Sport Climbing and World Aquatics.
THE EVENT
Over the course of November, we covered five different exhilarating sports from the NEOM beach hub and up in the mountain village: Beach Soccer, 3x3 Basketball, Sport Climbing, Open Water Swimmingg, Triathlon
Our output featured pioneering use of Augmented Reality (AR), 3D graphics, special cameras and drone filming.
We produced two concurrent broadcasts, with a total of 67 hours of live programming distributed locally and globally via multiple broadcast and streaming partners.
