BMW approached Aurora to develop a branded campaign for the Middle East to showcase their innovative engineering and commitment to sustainability.
The brief was to create a hero brand film for BMW’s "Dune Taxi," a pioneering electric off-road vehicle that highlights their cutting-edge engineering and dedication to sustainability. The prototype was designed to excel in harsh desert environments, showcasing BMW Middle East's expertise in electric mobility and off-road capabilities in sand, with sustainable design.

We developed a narrative showcasing the Dune Taxi’s journey through the Arabian Desert near Dubai, emphasising its performance on challenging terrains with a dune bashing "taxi" theme.
We produced a high-end, cinematic brand film, capturing luxury and innovation against the backdrop of the Liwa Desert in Abu Dhabi. The film highlighted the vehicle’s design and performance with sophisticated cinematography and meticulous editing for a visually stunning final product.
We also created engaging teasers and clips for social media to generate excitement and direct traffic to the main video.
RESULTS
- The hero film garnered 2.7M views on YouTube and 67k engagements, reinforcing BMW's reputation as an innovator in sustainable luxury automotive technology.
