We’re ecstatic to share the news that Olympic Channel 'Wrestling My Family' has been selected as a Nominee in the 29th Annual Webby Awards in the category of Video & Film – Reality & Unscripted.
Congratulations to everyone involved in the project at Aurora and Greymatter Entertainment, particularly series co-Executive Producers James Hopkins, Chandradev Bhagat and all key members of the production team that were involved in both the UK and across India, including Lara Bishop, Payal Bhagat, Adhiksha Gupta, Shounok Ghosh and Spandita Behera.
As always, it’s a privilege to work on ground-breaking projects with the fantastic team at the Olympic Channel and a massive thank you to Jonathan Taylor and Badih Chayban for all their support with the series.
As a Webby Nominee, the 8-episode reality series, filmed in Haryanvi and Hindi languages, has been singled out as one of the five best in the world in its category and among the top 12% of the 13,000 projects entered. We are now competing for two most coveted awards: The Webby Award and The Webby People's Voice Award. While The Webby Award is chosen by the Academy, The Webby People’s Voice Award is voted on by the public.
