We’re proud to share our latest work, 'In Search of Nature' and 'Framed in Nature' - two wildlife series produced for BBC Studios.
Launching on World Wildlife Day, on the award-winning BBC Earth and BBC Earth Explore YouTube channels, these series feature six incredible photographers from around the world, each capturing the beauty of their local wilderness.

Rather than flying in an external production crew, we wanted to empower local photographers and videographers to document their world and the wildlife in it. The result is two extraordinarily vibrant, intimate, and diverse series that take us from the snowy valleys of Yellowstone to the coral reefs of Kenya and the tea plantations of India, produced remotely from our London production office.
It’s a continuation of our pioneering Creator Network model, which puts storytelling in the hands of those who know their environments best.
Aurora has masterfully brought this ambitious vision to life, creating an exciting and dynamic proposition for the BBC Earth brand. We can’t wait to share this inspiring series with audiences everywhere.
The series features renowned photographers such as Rylee Jensen who follows in the tracks of bisons and coyotes in Yellowstone National Park, and Anthony Ochieng Onyango, who documents the impact of climate change on coral reefs in Kenya’s Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park & Reserve.
The companion series, Framed in Nature, featuring six, six-to-eight-minute episodes, delves into the technical aspects of wildlife photography. This series takes the viewers through the camera equipment and settings used and demonstrates how to edit images for maximum effect. Both series are designed to inspire everyone, from amateur smartphone users to experienced photographers, to explore their local areas and try their hand at wildlife photography.
We are incredibly proud of this series and the work of all our photographers and videographers across the world, as well as the production team who shepherded the series at home.
