A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Technical Producer to join the Award-Winning team at Aurora. Based from our London studios, you will be working with some of the most creative and innovative production teams in the business, shaping and delivering broadcast content for our amazing partners all over the world.

Description: 

To be responsible for bridging the gap between the Production and Technology. Understanding the production team’s ambition and the complicated technology concepts needed to realise this ambition, and ultimately ensuring there is smooth delivery of each project on-site. Duties include technical planning for the production, working closely with facilities vendors, ownership of the technical budget, successful delivery of all projects, and technical authority when on site.

Job Responsibilities

• Working with the Production department to understand their ambitions and help to realise these ambitions from a technical perspective.
• Collaborate with Director of Operations and the Production Team to help pitch to prospective clients.
• Manage the relationship with 3^rd party facilities vendors to find the best technical solution for each specific project.
• Key point of contact for Aurora for all technical planning.
• Have ownership of all Aurora internal technology and edit suites.
• Once a project is operational, oversee the successful delivery phase of the project on-site.
• Act as key technical liaison and company authority when on site.
• Collaborate closely with and develop strong interpersonal relationships with Production Team.
• Keep abreast of all innovative IP, Live Production, and Data technologies that keep AURORA as a pioneer in the industry.
• You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job.
