Aurora is looking for a London-based experienced Graphic Designer to start ASAP to help support ongoing client projects, business development, production and marketing activity. This is a permanent position.
Job Responsibilities
- Supporting business development activity by delivering best in class creative solutions on brief responses for clients
- Ensuring that presentation material to support pitches and client activity are compelling and highly visual. Using expert design skills and ownership of design tools, creation of compelling imagery, design and ideation of example GFX
- Overseeing all design elements, from the conception to final delivery
- Owning the Aurora brand look & feel and ensure it is implemented throughout our marketing and business development collateral in highly creative ways
- Having hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite and other design software.
- Using a strong eye for aesthetics and visual details to ensure a quality final product.
- Listening to design needs, coming up with ideas and communicating them to clients and other members of the team.
- Maintaining high standards of quality and making sure only the best work is released to a client.
- Collaborating across the organization to drive up standards of digital creativity.
Skills and Qualifications
Required:
- Be a great conceptual thinker. You’ll be responsible for generating innovative and creative design concepts for a wide range of brand, digital and marketing materials which deliver on business objectives and appeal to the relevant audiences
- Develop concepts to a good standard across a variety of media.
- Take an active part in brainstorms and be confident in contributing. Ideas are to be shared.
- Work seamlessly across all relevant digital and social platfroms with a good understanding of how best to use the relevant creative medium to communicate specific messages.
- Manage your workflow efficiently, keeping to deadlines and working alongside the management within the organisation.
- Demonstrate good communications skills including the ability to brief internal and external suppliers, (such as printers, photographers, illustrators and digital technicians).
- The ability to present design work and rationale to the team, and when required, to assist with client presentations Ability to make editorial decisions without direct supervision
- Demonstrate and deliver on your understanding of digital design.
- Demonstrate proficiency in core Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design. Sketch etc.)
Desirable:
- As well as graphic design skills, experience in video editing and video production using the Adobe Creative Suite is also advantageous
- Previous experience in a sports and/or broadcast media environment is preferable
- Previous experience working in a client services / agency environment
- Good knowledge of digital content in particular understanding the role digital and social platforms play in building audience and fan engagement

Unusual Challenges or Circumstances :
- Travel to shoots / client meetings may be required
- Tight deadlines to meet occasionally, unsocial hours
- Flexibility in working times including weekend working is needed for events and pitches
